The Oceanic Bodywork Institute provides you with the possibility of following 2 different types of training in 2 different methods.


Training as personal growth


These training requires:


For OBA

215 hours of courses on aquatic techniques, divided in 5 courses and 40 sessions of practice (20 to be received and 20 to be given) before the last technical course. It does not qualify to offer paid sessions.


For OB Fire & Earth

140 hours of courses on massage techniques on land, divided in 4 courses and 40 sessions of practice (20 to be received and 20 to be given). It does not qualify to offer paid sessions.




Training of professional Bodyworker in collaboration with the national associations


This training requires:


For OBA

215 hours of courses on aquatic techniques, divided in 5 courses
208* hours of courses regarding the foundations of the profession, social sciences and the basics of medicine (segment shared with OB Fire & Earth)
15 sessions supervised by Trainers (5 to be received and 10 to be given)
75 sessions of practice (20 to be received and 55 to be given)
680* hours of individual study are estimated Final examination It qualifies to offer paid sessions and provides access to regional recognition.


For OB Fire & Earth

140 hours of courses about massage techniques on land divided in 4 courses
208* hours of courses regarding the foundations of the profession, social sciences and the basics of medicine (segment shared with OBA)
10 sessions supervised by Trainers (5 to be received and 5 to be given)
60 sessions of practice (20 to be received and 40 to be given)
665* of individual study are estimated Final examination It qualifies to offer paid sessions and provides access to regional recognition.
